Woods is a strong climber, and he is expected to be a contender for the podium. This years Tour has over 56,400 meters of climbing.

Froome has said that he is disappointed not to be selected for the 2023 Tour de France, but he respects the team’s decision. He has also said that he is still motivated to win at least one more of the Grand Tours, and he is targeting a return to the Tour de France in 2024.

Here are some of the reasons why Froome was left out of the Tour de France:

·         He has not been able to consistently show good form in recent races.

·         He is not as strong as he used to be before the crash in 2019.

·         Israel-Premier Tech is focusing on Michael Woods for the 2023 Tour de France.

Froome is a four-time Tour de France winner, and he is one of the most successful cyclists of all time. However, he has struggled to find his form since the crash in 2019.
