One of my all time TV show is back on our screens in January.
Series 17 of the Apprentice will officially start on Thursday 5th January with a new batch of aspiring ‘wannabes’ showing off their (non)existent business skills in an attempt to secure a £250,000 investment from Lord Alan Sugar.
This year, the 18 candidates, will be thrown in the deep end right from the start, with an episode which will see them travelling to Antigua where they will be tasked with creating and selling excursions to tourists.
With subsequent shows, candidates will be creating their own cartoons, cooking and selling street food, working with male beauty products, and presenting online 3D effects.
It is understood, that Claude Littner will be returning to the show for at least a couple of episodes. Claude was absent from the 2022 series of The Apprentice, due to a bad cycling accident, that saw him nearly losing one of his legs.
Lord Sugar will be joined by his advisors; Baroness Karen Brady (Vice-Chairman of West Ham United FC) and Tim Campbell MBE – the first-ever winner of The Apprentice.
With a larger number of candidates this series, 18 instead of the usual, 14 or 16, there looks like there will be plenty of tension in the Boardroom.
A TV programme to genuinely look forward to watching over the next couple of months.
