Autumn has arrived here in the UK (Northern Hemisphere). We have had our summer – admittedly it has been a dry summer – with not much rain, and we have had a few warm days, but overall it hasn’t been that warm here in the North West – comfortable, but not roasting hot.
We did have a few days, when the temperature climbed, and the doom mongers said the end of the world was nigh, but here in the North West – it was just OK!
With the onset of autumn, there is always a rush to announce new features for our Virtual Cycling Games.
Zwift, VirtuPro Cycling and CADEsport have all announced big updates.
CADEsport have announced that their totally new (rewritten) Game will be released on the 1st October. This one will be the one to watch, as the graphics seem to be exceptional.
VirtuPro Cycling have announced that they will be releasing a major update to their Game this month (September). However, I am expecting this more in late October. Very little (or even any) new information has been released.
Zwift have come up with an exciting list of new features they intend to roll out by the end of 2022. A condensed list looks something like this:
Ø A new Zwift Smart trainer
Ø 12 new miles of road on the Yumezi map, called Urukazi.
Ø Holographic replays of your own efforts.
Ø Updates to Clubs
Ø On-Demand Training – Route based workouts.
Ø New Levels – 51 to 60
Ø A new Font and Logo
Definitely a lot on their list… so it is going to make for an interesting few months, however, with updates from CADEsport and VirtuPro Cycling, I think we are in for an intriguing and engaging time.
